Using cut paper with painted detail in a simplified style of scenes plucked from the past, creates art work that is apart from any mainstream trend; often using imagery from Americana to either mock, or connect with the memory of yesteryear.
Commissioned to create a mural for the September 11, 2011, "River Kids Community Mural Project", she worked with children from two churches from lower Manhattan that had been affected by 911. This mural is now hanging in the office of the 911 Memorial Museum.
