Using various mediums in a simplified style of scenes plucked from the past, Alicia Flannery creates artwork that is apart from any mainstream trend; often using imagery from "Americana" to either mock or connect with the memory of yesteryear.
Graduated from Pratt Institute in 2007. Has been published in Fluxion Art Quarterly and Dessert Professional Magazine. Was commissioned to create a mural for “The River Kids 9/11 Mural Project” in 2010, this mural now hangs in the 9/11 memorial Museum.
Alicia Flannery lives in Brooklyn, New York and stays up late watching old movies.
